Dr Ranji Goel

Rajni Goel, Ph.D – CERC Director 

Dr. Rajni Goel is a Professor and Former Chair of the Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Department in the School of Business at Howard University. Dr. Goel served as a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar conducting research and assisting in curriculum development in the area of Cyber security in India in 2016. She holds a Ph.D. in IT (Dissertation in Information Security) from George Mason University, VA, an M.S. (Mathematics), and a B.A. (Mathematics) and began her career as a High School Mathematics teacher. Upon joining Howard, she significantly impacted the establishment of the Cyber Security curriculum and research at the University.

Bob Burke

Robert (Bob) Burke – Associate Director

Mr. Burke is a certified Project Manager and Solution Architect with over 25 years of experience in software development, DevOps, cyber security, and data center support with IBM. He is focused on helping students build their cyber security skills through a variety of hands-on learning challenges and cyber competitions. He received his Bachelor’s from Providence College and his MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
